Osteria Da Fortunata is known for having some of the best pasta in Rome for good reason. Located between the popular neighborhoods of Regola and Centro Storico, the famous Osteria features rustic indoor and outdoor seating with beautiful decor. The menu is filled with endless traditional Italian dishes and pastas, some of the more popular options being Cacio e Pepe, Pesto, and Bolognese. Visit the Colosseum and Trevi Fountain
Out of the many monuments to visit in Rome, the Colosseum and Trevi Fountain are absolute musts. In person, the Colosseum is larger and more intricate than you could ever imagine through pictures, and tours through the arena inside provide an in depth look into Ancient Roman history and the importance of the site. The Trevi Fountain is completely free to visit and undeniably stunning, featuring detailed statues of gods and mythical creatures surrounded by bright blue water. Tossing a coin over your shoulder into the water is said to grant wishes, and taking a drink from the lovers tap just next to the fountain is rumored to bring eternal love to couples. Were you really in Rome if you didn’t eat any gelato? Monte is a gorgeous, quant neighborhood in Rome just 10 minutes from the Colosseum, filled with peaceful piazza’s and amazing restaurant choices… but Gelatoria Fassi is the star of the show. This gelatoria offers hundreds of amazing home-made flavors, topped with a delicious home-made whipped cream.
