Turndown service is one of the best parts of traveling and staying in a nice hotel. Luckily, this service is not exclusive to hotels and can become a regular part of your nighttime routine. The art of the turndown service is one based on relaxation and over-the-top indulgence — treating yourself to little luxuries as you end your day can easily be implemented with a few extra steps.
Turn down your bed
Probably one of the most important parts of turn-down service is turning down your bed. Remove any decorative pillows that are not used during sleeping, take the top of your duvet and top sheet, and fold them down. Fluff up your pillows, and add a cozy blanket if you would like.
Add a fragrance

After you complete your personalized pre-bed routine, leave the room for a while until you are completely ready to go to bed. Doing so will leave you feeling luxurious and feel as if someone else prepared your sleepy oasis for you.
