WEDDING STYLE SUMMER 2022
God, do I love weddings! Weddings are a time when friends and family gather together for such an unforgettable, cherishable moment. But it is also a time to get glammed up and feel yourself in the moment!
This summer, I had the opportunity to attend a wedding in London, United Kingdom. The makeup and hair took place in the luxurious hotel near the venue in Shoreditch Studios. I put my dress on first to avoid any conflict later on with hair and makeup. I was wearing the Arabelle Sequin Dress. When gathering my clothing for my travels to London, I reassured myself that this dress was worth it and that I would not choose to wear it to any other typical event. The dress was strapless, filled with black and pink sparkles, fitted, comfortable, and ready to wear!
Now it was time for the wedding makeup. It was important that I accomplished the look I was trying to achieve. The makeup artist was lovely and confident that she could provide me with the best service and the most amazing products. I was super excited to see the final results with the whole outfit put together!
Step 1: apply moisturizer, always lifting the face up.
Step 2: apply foundation matching my fair skin tone.
Step 3: Eyes and eyeliner. For this look, I requested a smokey eye and a wing eyeliner.
Step 4: Bronzer and Blush to perfect that glow and shine.
Step 5: Lips. And don’t be afraid to overline your lips!
Step 6: Highlight that collarbone! Since the dress is strapless, you want your collarbone to pop and stand out.
For my hair, not much needed to be done besides curling! I redefined my hair by accomplishing those beachy waves.
After I was all glammed up, I began to take my selfies. But it is not finished yet! I put my hot pink heels on to match my dress, and now I was ready. Let the wedding shenanigans begin!
