UNDERRATED NYC SPOTS YOU MUST TRY

Famous for hosting the amazing international fashion week, the fashion capital of the world, New York City has thousands of storefronts with prices ranging from ten dollars to ten grand. With trends cycling like crazy, save your money and the planet by shopping vintage!

Before I move to New York in the fall, I spent the last weekend investigating the best places to shop vintage. Here is what I found:

The RealReal

Known for their popular website selling vintage and second-hand designer, they have a physical location in New York filled with hundreds of brands and items. Located on 80 Wooster St, they have a wide price range, from a seventy dollar Gucci wallet to a $15,000 Birkin bag. All designer lovers must check it out!

Procell

This store screams effortlessly cool. Worn by numerous celebrities like Rihanna, the store specializes in curated vintage pieces from the ‘80s and ‘90s, revolutionizing luxury consignment by making it more affordable to a larger population. Located on 5 Delancy Street, this is not a store to miss.

What Goes Around Comes Around

Located on 103 Wooster Street is a globally recognized brand, and the name alone speaks for itself. You can find almost any designer bag here, and in great condition. Frequently visited by the best celebrities like Kate Moss and Lori Harvey, so you know the stuff is good.

Funny Pretty Nice

Finally, for the younger vintage lovers, there are two locations within the infamous Funny Pretty Nice boutique. Famous for her rise on TikTok, Natalia Spotts owns two vintage stores in SoHo (64 MacDougal Street), and The West Village (42 University Pl), both fabulous. With a great price range and unique Y2k pieces, it is no wonder that celebrities like Bella Hadid, Addison Rae, and Devon Lee Carlson are obsessed with it!
