SPRING SCENTS

Ahh, Spring. If you’re anything like me, with the changing of the seasons comes the changing of scents. Gone are the warm wintery perfumes, reminiscent of wood burning fireplaces, and cinnamon vanilla cookies and in are the freshest of florals, aquatics, and linens. Finding your signature seasonal scent can be difficult, so here are some of my favorite scents for spring.

Fresh’s Fresh Life ($95)

I don’t know about you, but I am always trying to find a fragrance that smells incredibly fresh and clean. A lot of the reviews describe how light the scent is instead of a heavy scent, which could be perfect if you’re one that would rather a lighter scent over a heavy one. This scent contains notes of mainly citrus, floral, and fresh which can ensure that you’re feeling and smelling fresh.

Nest’s Eau De Parfum Discovery Set ($40)

I know for me it’s hard to choose just one fragrance to get and that’s why sometimes I opt into buying a set of travel size perfumes so that I can figure out which one I like best. This is also perfect for the gift giving seasons in case you have no idea what scents someone likes.

Nest’s Wild Poppy Fine Fragrance Set ($86)

Now I love getting a set with everything the same scent and I find it super important to have both spray and rollerball because the rollerball is easy to slip into your purse if you’re looking to bring your perfume along for touchups. This fragrance’s notes contain mainly just a fruity fragrance with hints of sweet, rose, and white floral. The reviews of this also stated that this perfume is lightweight, it’s important to consider that if you’re looking for that detail or not when it comes to buying a new fragrance.

Idole Lancome ($64-$142)

Another fragrance that I absolutely love is Idole by Lancome. Not only is there an array of products in the Idole collection, such as lotion, perfume, and even mascara. This perfume contains main notes of rose, musk, fruits, and white rose. I personally love this perfume because although it is a strong fragrance, it’s not one to give me a headache, which is super important to me. This fragrance also has a long lasting scent which is perfect if you don’t have time to freshen up in the middle of the day.

Bright Crystal Versace ($85-$145)

This perfume is my second main go to because it reminds me of a perfume called Baby Phat that my mother would always wear and I’ve been searching for a perfume just like it ever since. Bright Crystal is by far one of the freshest perfumes I have smelt and just like Lancome’s Idole it is another strong fragrance that does not give me a headache. Bright Crystal contains notes of floral, fresh, and citrus. Those three notes are pretty much a constant in my perfume collection, and you might have your own constant notes that you look for in a perfume without even realizing it. The bottle of this perfume is also just a beautiful piece to add to your collection.
