Brightness Bliss

Healthy skin radiates. It all begins from within. A happy soul emits a natural glow that no skincare regimen could ever achieve. A smile warms the hearts of others and oneself.

HOWEVER,  when it comes to skincare regimens,  there are a few things one can do to take their skin game a few steps further. Exfoliating the face is one of my favorite parts of my skincare routine. There is something incredibly satisfying about removing dead skin and product buildup that has been accumulating on my face to reveal the soft, baby smooth skin underneath.

I gently massage my face with a cream exfoliant, working on the product as I massage in circular motions. I massage my temples, forehead, cheeks, chin, and neck, relieving any tension I may have built up from stress or overthinking. If you suffer from TMJ, don’t forget those masseters. I rinse with lukewarm water and pat my face gently with a towel. Afterward, I will say some positive affirmations to calm the mind, body, and soul. I admire my healthy skin and thank her for protecting me from the harsh sun and cold, dry winters.

Dr. Barbara Sturm’s cream exfoliant leaves my complexion smooth, hydrated, and youthful. Ingredients such as Vitamin A, Purslane, and Horse Chestnut strengthen and calm the skin while reducing any irritation. Sensitive skin approved! ✔️

You may exfoliate anywhere from 1-3 times a week, depending on the routine your esthetician recommends for you.

Immediately after I tone, I apply a brightening and calming serum made with Vitamin C and Turmeric for an immediate boost of radiance. I finish off with a moisturizer, as always, and get ready for a restful night of beauty sleep.
