INVISIBLE EYELINER: A MAKEUP TREND FOR ALL

Has winged eyeliner always been something that you loved but struggled to apply the wings just right? You are not alone. Winged eyeliner has been a makeup trend that has been a goal of mine to achieve, specifically with liquid eyeliner. After a few mishaps, I decided that I wanted to find a way to practice winged eyeliner without the worry of smudging and the need to reapply several times. But where does one start?

The invisible eyeliner trend is perfect for those who prefer a more natural and subtle eye look or even a tool to practice winged eyeliner. There are several ways to recreate the invisible eyeliner trend, but the most simple way is with two to three products.

Before beginning the look, the key is to choose a concealer that is both long-lasting and hydrating. One of my favorite concealers is Laura Mercier's Flawless Fusion Ultra-Longwear Concealer. If you hope to go for a brighter eye look within this trend, choose a concealer color that is a shade or two brighter than what you typically wear. If you hope to stick with a more natural route, use your normal shade of concealer. The only other item that you need is a slanted brush to help create the winged eyeliner look. My personal favorite is Laura Mercier's Flat Eye Liner Brush, which will help you achieve the perfect winged look.

If you want to add a bit more color or shimmer to the invisible eyeliner trick, a touch of eyeshadow is the perfect solution. I prefer to add a gold shimmer base to my eyelid before creating my invisible eyeliner wing and add more eyeshadow after the concealer has been finished. Bobbi Brown's Bronze Nudes Eye Shadow Palette provides a variety of shimmer to help your eye look shine.

Shine with this natural and minimalistic look that is perfect for summer and days out in the sun.
