INCOMING: FOOTWEAR YOU NEED THIS FALL

Boots

Boots, boots, boots: you can’t have fall without them! This season we have seen tons of unexpected boot styles rise in popularity. Let’s start with one that seems to be sticking around since summer: the cowboy/ western boot. They’re the perfect pair to spice up your shoe game because this style is so new that it’s still a little unexpected.

While chunky styles were the rage this summer and will still be this fall (more on that, later) slinkier and skinnier heel options are trending as well. More specifically, knee-high boots with pointed toes and skinny heels. This style is such a throwback to the 90s and early 2000s, and we love it! Leather options seem to be the most popular at the moment.

Uggs

Blame Hailey Bieber or Bella Hadid, but UGGS are coming back! This year, though, ditch the tall styles for ankle length for a more modern, less “I dug these out from my closet and I’ve had these since middle school,” vibe.

Chunky Loafers

Don’t swap out all your chunky footwear for skinnier options just yet! Chunky shoes, specifically the loafer, is a huge fall footwear trend. These aren’t your Grandmother's loafers, either: trendier, modern styles have been all over runways and social media. From colorful to sparkly, to bows and leather, there’s bound to be a style that catches your eye.

Platform

From heels to sneakers to boots, platform styles are HUGE this season. While it may be a little daunting, platforms are actually very versatile. Converse has elevated (no pun intended) their classic shoe with platform styles that can be worn with almost anything, and are perfect for more casual outfits. Brands like Windsor Smith have mastered the art of platform shoes from boots to heels, and there are plenty more brands that have as well. Tap into your inner Bratz Doll and get yourself some platforms

Ballet Flats

While balletcore is great, that doesn’t mean that your ballet flats have to look like you’re about to perform in Swan Lake. Coming in a variety of styles, they can be paired with almost anything from long skirts to denim. Give the heels a rest and try out some ballet flats!
