It’s that time of year again! We’ve been keeping up with New York Fashion Week, and the looks did not disappoint! 

THE COLORS:

This past season, we have had multiple breakout colors that have been absolutely everywhere. For Fall ‘22, it’s looking like pink is here to stay! For style inspo, think of Elle Woods or Barbie– the more hot pink, the better! 

Besides pink, brown is also another color that was all over the runway. While beige is an amazing staple color for your capsule wardrobe pieces, the shades of brown that we’re talking about this season are warm and deep. 

In general, bold and bright colors like orange, yellow and green are what you should be gravitating towards for your wardrobe this fall, so don’t be shy! Try out a trendy monochrome outfit if you’re feeling extra-bold.

CORSETS AND WAIST CINCHERS:

The oversized trend has been popular for a while, but this is all about to change: This season is all about defined and cinched silhouettes. This trend can also be combined with the sheer trend that is creeping its way into fashion. If you’re a little shy of being able to see through your top, a sheer corset with fabrics that covers your bust is the perfect way to dip your toes into sheer clothing. 

SPARKLES, SEQUINS, AND FEATHERS- OH MY!:

Glitzy pieces are slowly making their way back into fashion in new, spunky ways. Whether choosing to opt for a statement piece or a glittery accessory, glitter is a refreshing way to spice up your next outfit. Silver and gold have been making statements recently, which was no exception on the runway. Silver and gold worked into gorgeous, flowing skirts and off-the-shoulder dresses (two other trends that will be hot!)

Not bold enough for you? Unexpectedly, feathers are being worked into pieces like dresses, tops, and skirts.

TIMELESS TWEEDS:

From pants to skirts to suit sets, tweed will be all over this fall! Tweed gives off a chic and luxurious vibe and is the perfect look if you’re trying to look expensive. Bonus points if your newest tweed is in the trending colors for this season!

Blazers and suit sets– another closet staple– will also stick around this Fall. Blazers, as we know from our clean girls, are versatile and can be worn for many different looks. Experiment with colors and fabrics for your next girl-boss look!
